Stamford Health’s thoracic surgery team includes a dedicated advanced practice registered nurse, Lauren Drysdale, who is available to answer your clinical questions. Lauren works alongside the thoracic surgeon to help expedite patient care. Prior to your consultation, additional testing may be needed to provide the surgeon with more information about your situation. Lauren will be able to review your chart and order testing needed ahead of time to make the most of your initial consultation. If surgery is indicated, she will provide you with comprehensive pre- and post-operative education and remain available throughout the entire process to answer clinical questions or address concerns. At Stamford Health, the thoracic surgeon and Lauren work collaboratively to provide you with professional and comprehensive care. In her free time, Lauren enjoys hiking, reading, participating in sports, and traveling around the world.
