Dr. Aparna Kailasam is an assistant professor of obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive sciences at Yale School of Medicine. She is a gynecologic oncologist specializing in the comprehensive care of gynecologic cancers, including both surgical and medical management. Dr. Kailasam is dedicated to forming relationships with her patients, offering reassurance and support throughout their treatment journey. As an assistant professor at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Kailasam's research interests include cancer, community health, genetics, genomics, epigenetics, global health, and healthcare quality. Her work aims to improve patient care and outcomes in these areas. She is passionate about women's health advocacy and furthering education within her field. Dr. Kailasam received her medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine and completed her fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the Mayo Clinic. She completed her residency at St. Francis Hospital & Medical Center in Hartford.
