Originally from Greenwich, Dr. Machen returned there with her two children to join Stamford Health as the new Director of Pediatric Emergency Medicine. She spent the last nine years as a pediatric emergency medicine physician at Texas Children’s. Dr. Machen has a special interest in global health and travels internationally providing clinical care and lecturing on pediatric emergency medicine.
