Lindy Urso is an experienced, highly accomplished Stamford criminal defense lawyer. Admitted to practice in California in 1995 and Connecticut in 1997, Urso has been providing high quality representation to clients in Connecticut State Courts and Federal Courts in the Tri-State area for over 20 years. Urso has handled matters ranging from Murder, Racketeering, Robbery, Rape, Extortion, Assault and Larceny, to Child Pornography, Bank Fraud, Tax Evasion, Drugs, Domestic Violence, DUI and Disorderly Conduct -- and everything in between. Urso has extensive successful criminal trial experience, having obtained numerous jury acquittals for such charges as Murder, Attempted Murder, Assault in the 1st Degree, Sexual Assault in the 1st Degree, Assault on a Police Officer and Burglary. That history of trial experience and success, along with his reputation for honesty and integrity, have enabled Lindy to achieve favorable results for his clients for over two decades. Lindy R. Urso, the son of an Italian immigrant stone mason, was born and raised in a working-class home in Cos Cob, CT. In addition to spending summers mixing cement as his father's laborer, Urso worked for several years as a carpenter both before and after he graduated from Pepperdine School of Law in Los Angeles, California in 1995. Urso has also served his country honorably, completing a 6-year enlistment with the US Army National Guard (CT) in 1990. In large part due to that blue collar experience and upbringing, Lindy brings a strong work ethic, values, and a spirit of selfless service to his criminal practice.
