Daniel M. McCabe, LLC is a general practice firm. Most people seek legal assistance when buying or selling a home, preparing a will, assisting an aging parent with estate and Title XIX planning, business formation, and traffic or minor criminal legal offenses. We seek to provide these services in an approachable manner. Our office is open Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. We also can accomodate early morning and evening appointments by request.

Daniel M. McCabe, Esq. Daniel M. McCabe first established his practice 1982 for the private practice of law. Attorney Daniel M. McCabe is an active member of the Stamford community and has formed his practice to meet the needs of the average person and/or family requiring legal services. Dan’s legal career has involved rendering legal advice to individuals and business entities concerning commercial transactions, business organizations, real property transactions, estate planning, probate matters and litigation. Dan is currently Counsel for the Stamford Water Pollution Control Authority and a Member of the Advisory Board for Trinity Catholic High School. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Business Law at Sacred Heart University. He previously was the Chairman for the Stamford Housing Authority, Co-chair of the Stamford Re-apportionment Committee, Co-chair of the 13th Charter Revision Commission, President of the Board of the Stamford Catholic Regional School System, Member of the Board of Parole for the State of Connecticut, Chairman of the Republican Town Committee of the City of Stamford. He previously served as Corporation Counsel for the City of Stamford where he held the position of chief legal counsel and advisor to the Mayor of the City of Stamford. Dan has coached over 40 youth sports teams including girls softball, little league, Babe Ruth baseball, youth soccer, Pop Warner Football and youth basketball. He was previously a Board Member for the North Stamford Little League and Terry Conners Parents Organization which supports synchronized skating teams.

Lauren J. Mashe, Esq.
Lauren J. Mashe joined the firm as an associate in March 2012. She previously worked at Stamford Superior Court in the Civil Clerk’s Office and in Civil Caseflow. Lauren’s practice includes real estate, family law, civil litigation, probate and mediation. Lauren has completed the required training to represent children both as an Attorney for the Minor Children and as a Guardian ad Litem in family court in Connecticut. She currently serves as a Special Master at Stamford Superior Court where she conducts pretrials in pending civil cases.
